Eyelash Extensions: The Guide for Beginners

Eyelash Extension – If suddenly it seems like all your friends have created a series of Filmstar tabs, they are not. This is just an eyelash extension. Eyelash extensions can be the answer for you if all the great mascara formulas on the market, lash lifters, and false eyelash options don’t give you enough lift.

As with any cosmetic therapy, it is important to research this before signing up for a treatment. We’ve reached out to Clementine Richardson, renowned eyelash expert and founder of Envious Lashes in New York, to share everything you need to know about eyelash extensions, from the weather to what to expect.

Do Eyelash Extensions Look Natural?

Says the final look makes your natural lashes look longer, fuller, and more lifted. Whether this image will be more dramatic or more natural is up to the client. In general, the more lashes applied, the more dramatic the effect will be.

Typical treatments include 80-140 individual extensions per eye for 6-18mm lashes, Richardson says. “This is not a one-size-fits-all approach,” he explains.

Unlike false eyelashes, a separate strip of eyelashes applied to the skin; eyelash extensions adhere directly to the eyelashes. The result is thicker, fuller lashes that you can even use to ditch mascara (wheezing).

How Long Does The Process Take?

Bad news? Wait an hour or two for the procedure, depending on how you want it to look. Good news? You can use this as an excuse to lie down, relax, and take a forced break from your phone.

Richardson remembers that a suitable eyelash extension technician takes his time. “Safety should be your top concern. It is essential to find a certified specialist to apply your lashes. Depending on the state, the stylist must also be licensed,” he advises.

How Much Does Eyelash Extension Cost?

The cost depends on the location, specialist, and appearance. At Envious Lashes, the first set costs $ 105, while Bombshells, a favorite of Richardson’s famous clients like Mary J. Blige, costs over $ 550.
The most advanced tabs are time and financial commitments, and they can cost you thousands of dollars a year, depending on how often you fill them out.

How Is Eyelash Extension Treated?

Avoid water for the day 1 or so until the glue is completely dry. Treat new lashes with TLC – don’t curl, apply mascara, or rub your eyes. Always avoid anything that requires you to touch your eyelashes, and also prevent cleansers and oil-based products. Mascara can only apply to the lashes’ tips, but it is best to omit everything. After all, your new lashes should be spectacular on their own.

How Long Does Eyelash Extension Last?

Extensions attached to the lashes last for the natural growth cycle, or approximately six weeks. To prolong the life of an extension or extension, Richardson recommends using an eyelash conditioner (yes, there is one!) And gently brushing your eyelashes with a dry coil brush. He also recommends filling in rare areas every two to three weeks.
