5 Hair Tips Men Can’t Ignore

Hair Tips,  Everyone has it; some have more of it, some have less of it, but hair can make or break a look for a man.

We’re not just talking head hair either, the fashion for a well-cut and well-groomed beard is definitely coming back, and the famous handlebar mustache isn’t that far off either!

Here are five tips to help you care for your hair in a way that will keep it looking shiny and more vital for longer.

Masculine Haircare Made Easy

Men’s hair has a strange place in history. When some men go bald, they see it as a way of showing their wisdom, but it can be disheartening for others.
There’s no right or wrong answer either, and looking at the before and after pictures of hair transplants on hshairclinic.co.uk.

It shows what a significant difference was having a good head of hair can make to the lives of men everywhere (and some women!).

Use A Good Shampoo

Shampoos are not all created equal, and what works for one man’s hair may not work for another man’s hair.

It is why it’s imperative to test out which shampoos your hair likes and doesn’t like and, when you find one that works, stick with it religiously!
If you’re concerned about the single-use plastic issues of so many hair care products, why not consider giving solid shampoo bars a go-to clean your mop instead?

Use Conditioner

Believe it or not, many men don’t use Conditioner. For men with short hair, a quick shampoo is usually all it takes to get hair looking and smelling clean and fresh, but the problem with this is that hair never receives the nourishment it needs.

Shampoos can be very drying, starving the scalp of essential oil, but a conditioner will help coat the hairs in a film of protection from the elements. Don’t skip the Conditioner.

Don’t Over Product

If you spent years watching your grandad wash his hair and then run it through with a hair pomade, you may be forgiving for thinking that’s what you SHOULD do with your style, but this is far from the truth!

In general, it’s best to go for a few products as possible, and if you’re not going out anywhere, skip the products altogether after shampooing and conditioning.

Get A Regular Cut

If you’re looking to get a bit more body and length to your hair, it may seem counterintuitive to cut it, but there is a method to the madness.
Not only will you remove the dead split ends, but a regular cut encourages hair growth!

Stay Away From Heat

Yes, those straighteners and hairdryers look appealing to try to tame your frizzy mane but hold your horses. Using too much heat can damage your hair, leaving it brittle and delicate.

It’s best to skip the heated tools until you need them and use a heat defense spray at the same time to protect your hair from heat damage.
